We should really just face it: Abu Dhabi has every single cool thing in the world. It might seem a bit opulent but I've come to embrace it. There are no rules, no limitations and seemingly no end to resources and funds (that may be a big arrogant of developers but hey, we'll let them deal with the fallout!) and, as a result, design is flourishing in this city. The Yas Hotel is a perfect example.

It's official: wine labels are the new hot breeding ground for excellent design. I guess it's always been like that to some extent but lately, I've been tempted to switch from my boyfriend whiskey (it's a long, loving relationship) to wine, just so I can collect the amazing bottles.
