This is very nice. It's perfectly laid out and there's nice hints of colour. To me it seems like the bottom area is more suited to be the top because they are easier to scan and uses nice photography. The ads also is not optimally placed. If I were to advertise on this, I wouldn't be willing to pay for ad space when the banner is so low below the fold. The footer also seems incomplete, a little detached from the site.
 
 
Other than that, I really like this.
