Perfection with Photoshop

 Posted by §Khadija B. on 20th Nov, 2009

A time-lapse video of an already pretty model being "perfected" with Photoshop. Of all the tweaks, I just don't get why her ears were adjusted. I suspect that after completely changing the symmetry of her face everything else had to change as well.

Some serious skills. You'd think when you see the first version of her she's ok and doesn't have much flaw, maybe just bad pic. At the end though, her face structure, lip, ears had to be tweaked because her face lacked perfect symmetry. Crazy! Just goes to show 90% of the photos we see are photoshopped for either the good or bad.

have to agree with M. Alec Lomas, it's bit sad that nowadays we always have to manipulate people portraits. Makes me think about what we learnt in my art class, nearly 100% of advertising pictures magazines pictures, etc..  are manipulated, not only tones and contrasts, but really the face and shapes of the model.

don't know. It seems like one of those moments of Photoshopping for the sake of Photoshopping. Only thing woulda done is adjusted levels/curves and MAYBE whiten her teeth little.

She's not an unattractive lady; and it IS incredible what people can do in PS. But morally? Ethically? Not so awesome. What happened to taking picture of pretty girl and running that?
