These children are put to work in ways that drain childhood of joy and crush the right to normal physical and mental development, and often interfere with children’s education. Worst of all, they’re often placed in hazardous situations or conditions, such as working in mines, working with chemicals and pesticides in agriculture or working with dangerous machinery. Save The Children (India) believes this absolutely cannot continue. Not even one more month.
