Well this month Suit Supply (I don't know where this brand popped up from) has stirred up a frenzy with their provocative and shameless ad campaign. In their campaign, it features half naked females with males looking up their skirt or down their chest while showcasing their suits.
Of course, this is one of those ads where some Americans kick up a storm calling it sexist and unacceptable. Really? I'd understand a mother in India making such a statement but Americans? It seems that the campaign is so offensive that Facebook asked Suit Supply to remove their images because it's deemed offensive.
I don't see a lot of guys crying sexist for this campaign and that's who it's geared to. Then again, women are the ones who does the shopping - wonder if they thought of that. Is it creative... maybe not. Is it executed well... I think so. For a new product and brand, they're getting buzz around their campaign and that's what matters.
Sex Sells. Get over it.
