For retailers, shopping is the art of persuasion. There are many factors that influence how and what customers buy. However, a great deal is decided by visual cues, the strongest and most persuasive being color.

This is a beautiful informative illustration, comes in very handy when you're in e-commerce :) I'm certainly going to use it.
I often see an overkill of color in e-commerce webdesign, not only to many colors but also wrong colors for CTA's.. (No Reds for a add-to-cart button right?? I know it stands out, but red should be the color to delete something from your cart..). I know there are a lot of buttons to design in a webshop but too many colors can be confusing and give customers a sense of desorientation which will make them click away.
Many thanks for this infographic! It's very helpful and makes you think about WHY you want to make that thingy green, or blue, or yellow :)
