Some serious skills. You'd think when you see the first version of her she's ok and doesn't have much flaw, maybe just a bad pic. At the end though, her face structure, lip, ears had to be tweaked because her face lacked perfect symmetry. Crazy! Just goes to show 90% of the photos we see are photoshopped for either the good or bad.
I have to agree with M. Alec Lomas, it's a bit sad that nowadays we always have to manipulate people portraits. Makes me think about what we learnt in my art class, nearly 100% of advertising pictures , magazines pictures, etc.. are manipulated, not only tones and contrasts, but really the face and shapes of the model.
I don't know. It seems like one of those moments of Photoshopping for the sake of Photoshopping. Only thing I woulda done is adjusted levels/curves and MAYBE whiten her teeth a little.
She's not an unattractive lady; and it IS incredible what people can do in PS. But morally? Ethically? Not so awesome. What happened to taking a picture of a pretty girl and running that?
